How Can I/We Help

Supporting the Journey
Mashkiwizii Manido is a Federally recognized Not for Profit Corporation that focuses on the overall health and well being of the Urban Indigenous Population of Renfrew County and surrounding Area. We focus on providing culturally specific services and programs developed by, implemented and delivered by Indigenous Peoples for Indigenous Peoples and their families. These programs include mental health, addictions, trauma supports, 60's scoop, residential schools, truth and reconciliation, intergenerational trauma, impacts of colonization, and walking a journey of healing.

We do not receive government funding for our programming and supports and currently rely on the generous donations of individuals, organizations and businesses that support the ongoing healing of our Urban Indigenous Peoples.
 
If you would like to support the journey there are a number of ways you can do so. Volunteer some time, have your business or organization reach out for a workshop, KBE, cultural awareness training or guest speaker on a wide variety of topics, make an individual one time donation, or commit to a monthly contribution. Speak to your place of employment about setting up a fundraiser or ongoing act of reconciliation to support the wellness, mental health, addictions, trauma or land based connections for Indigenous peoples healing. There are a number of ways to support one another on the healing path toward reconciliation, we all need healing.
